Raspberry Pi® 3 is a powerful successor to the extremely popular credit card–sized single-board computer. This 3rd-generation Raspberry comes with a high-performance ARM Cortex A7 4x 1.2 GHz quad core processor. This upgrade gives the Pi® 3 way more bite when it comes to a wide range of applications. Also features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy to facilitate networking. Pi® 3 board layout and connectivity match Pi® 2 Model B and Pi® B+.

Raspberry Pi® 3 features four USB 2.0 ports, a LAN connection and a HDMI™ output enabling quick hook-up and straightforward operation.

Moreover, versability is one of the Raspberry Pi® 3 strong points. Use it as a mini PC in your living room, play back videos in Full HD via the HDMI™ output, or interconnect the Pi® 3 to other PCBs via the GPIO port to assemble more complex controllers.
